Job Roles 

1) GIS Developer

What you will bring to Rayn as a GIS Developer

  • Design, develop, and implement systems and databases to access and store geospatial data.
  • Create and modify GIS datasets, manage, and maintain legacy GIS datasets develop and implement GIS-based analyses.
  • Core responsibility includes processing data and other similar requests from project team members and anticipating information needs for presentations and reports.
  • Design digital maps and layers using geospatial data and analyze spatial and non-spatial information.
  • Provide support and resolve technical issues associated with ArcGIS/ArcMap/QGIS and/or PostGIS.

Your Qualifications

  • Min 3 years of experience in Postgres SQL, PostGIS, SQL, PL/SQL, Performance tuning, Shell scripting, or python scripting
  • Strong understanding of geodatabases and geodatabase applications and the ability to work with vector and raster datasets.
  • Prior experience developing, documenting, and deploying REST APIs or GraphQL APIs for internal and end customer use.
  • Experience in developing React.js web applications integrated with GIS server/database to build rich web UIs for displaying mapping enriched datasets.
  • Experience using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal, or another web mapping system
  • Familiar with GPS data collection and data management, including Collector for ArcGIS
  • Ability to use and edit shapefiles and geodatabases (personal, file, and enterprise)
  • Experience working with different coordinate systems, map projections, and datums.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, determine and set job task priorities, and work with limited direct supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

2) DevOps Engineer

What you will bring to Rayn as a DevOps Engineer

  • A strong understanding of and passion for the DevOps mindset and philosophy.
  • A passion for automating software build, release, and deployment processes.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container-based workflows.
  • Expertise in scripting languages (Python, bash, Powershell).
  • Strong focus on and experience with automation and setting up automation processes.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of other DevOps tools such as LiquidBase, Nexus, fastlane, Bitrise, AppCircle, and CodeMagic.
  • A strong understanding of modern Software Development and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with the AWS Public Cloud platform.
  • Some knowledge of and experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g. SonarQube, Snyk).
Your qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience building DevOps pipelines using a combination of: AWS, Jenkins, Bamboo, BitBucket, CircleCI.
  • Expertise with git, and administering gitlab, github and BitBucket.
  • Experience with IaC/Configuration Mgmt./Automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases; equally comfortable working on either Linux or Windows servers.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).

3)  SQA Engineer

What you will bring to Rayn as an SQA Engineer
  • Build and ship high-quality technology products and services that our customers will be delighted with.
  • Testing and QA are your passion; you love to test Software applications and find defects with an eye towards improving Customer Experience and delighting the Customer.
  • Build automation scripts and frameworks so that manual testing efforts and processes can be minimized.
  • Have relevant experience with Test Automation of web apps, mobile apps, and back-end systems.
  • Deep understanding of Manual & Automation Test methodologies and principles.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test cases and test plans.
  • Research and adapt evolving trends in QA & Test.
Your qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in testing, QA/QC, and test automation.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with 2 or more of the following: Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Watir, WebDriverIO, Postman, Jest, Jasmine, and Detox.
  • Expertise in 2 or more of the following tools: Jira, TestRail, git, Rest Assured, TestNG, qase.io, and Cucumber.
  • Experience working with programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs.
  • Understanding of Web application & Mobile app development
