Job Roles 

1) VP of Engineering

 

What you will bring to Rayn as VP Engineering

  • Build, lead, and coach teams of Software Engineers, SQA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Architects.
  • Instill a culture of technical excellence across the Engineering organization, focusing on customer centricity and shipping high-quality products.
  • The ability to lead multiple cross-cutting initiatives across the organization and deliver high-quality results meeting benchmarks of excellence at every level of operations. 
  • Ability to manage, organize, and lead multiple Engineering work streams, knowing when and where to over-index based on the situation and needs at hand.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and improvement, and strong execution.
  • Define and set OKRs for Engineering teams, and work with People Ops to conduct performance reviews of your teams.
  • Build cross-department relationships centered on executing company strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, internal and external customers, and Leadership.
  • Exemplify Rayn’s culture and values.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment where priorities are evolving rapidly.
  • Work closely with the CEO and CTO on strategic and organization-wide initiatives.

 

Your qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field.
  • At least 12-15 years of experience building and leading Engineering Teams.
  • Deep technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: AI and ML, Data, DevOps, Cloud, multi-tier Distributed systems, and Databases.
  • You’ve been a hands-on Engineer in the past and have a thorough understanding of modern Software architecture, Agile methodologies, and delivering end-to-end technology solutions to customers. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty with code when required.
  • Strong organizational & planning skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Recruit world‐class engineering talent and participate in the process, including attracting, screening and closing high-caliber candidates.
  • Able to translate customer and business needs into innovative technical solutions.
  • Knowledgeable and well-versed in industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge & experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

2) Technical Project Manager

What you will bring to Rayn as a Technical Project Manager
  • As a Technical Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end execution and launch the Rayn products and platforms.
  • You will work closely with the leadership to guide platform missions, partner with the Engineering team to create product launch roadmaps and develop key metrics to measure the success of the platforms.
  • You will drive essential aspects of product definition, execution, test and delivery. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
  • In partnership with an experienced interdisciplinary team, you will define the mechanisms to get all aspects of the product in execution.
  • You will work with the Product Manager to derive the product requirements, inspire and drive the overall platform design while keeping the customer needs in mind.
  • You will create a working backwards schedule, align the teams to execute projects, define project plans and hold milestones review, while managing the risks and measuring the success of the product via metrics.
  • Additionally, you will own the communication of the overall program progress, product launches and customer facing announcements. You will also partner with the Rayn communications team to launch timely social media campaigns aligned with key product launches. 
Your qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience working directly with Engineering teams, and leading Software Development projects end-to-end (e.g., mobile apps, enterprise web apps, etc.).
  • 3+ years of Technical Program Management experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • Proficient at creating and tracking complex development schedules, managing issues and tracking bugs.
  • Experience managing the introduction of new technologies.
  • Solid understanding of product development process.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements engineering for Software and Technology products.
  • Experienced in the art of stakeholder management.
  • Excellent oral and writing communication skills.

3) Cloud Sales & BD Manager

What you will bring to Rayn as Cloud Sales and BD Manager

  • A passion for selling Technology & Cloud services and solutions.
  • Develop and identify key target customers and channels in order to develop a sales pipeline for Cloud consulting services.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the existing Cloud platforms landscape and key trends.
  • Help to organize events to enable customer interaction and information disbursements
  • Interact with other vertical leads in order to identify upsell opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior leaders
  • Strong negotiation & persuasion skills
  • Excellent understanding of customer landscape and installed base
  • A high-agency mindset with a strong focus on converting prospects and leads into long-term customers.

 

 

Your qualifications
  • At least 6-7 years of experience in the area of Technology Sales and BD, with a strong focus on selling Cloud services.
  • An excellent understanding of technology trends and the market appetite for Technology products and services especially public Cloud platforms.
  • Experienced in building a sales funnel with prospects and opportunities.
  • Experienced in devising Sales & BD strategies to grow Technology & Consulting services businesses with a strong focus on Cloud-based services.
  • 3-4 years of experience with Public Cloud platforms and managed Cloud services (preferably AWS or Azure or GCP).
  • A degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) or an MBA.
